What's a nice girl like you, doing in a dark world like this?
The call to write wasn't a gentle tug at my heart strings. It was an avalanche of emotions inside of me that scratched at the coffin like a hungry vampire needing to feed.
One of the coping mechanisms I have always leaned into has been my mind — the stories waiting there. The first sparks of this world were born in those quiet hours. Its people rescued me before I ever tried to rescue them.
Now my stories are my way of connecting, while disconnecting.
I currently frolic in the mist of the Pacific Northwest, with my wonderful husband and pets.
A crazy Staffordshire named Leon and a crew of neighborhood cats. Including a rescue with 3 legs.
Welcome. Stay awhile. The tea is hot and the dragons are (mostly) friendly.
